Senteret er åpent fra 11-16 lørdager og søndager ut sommersesongen, og det ligger i Haugsundgata 51 ved siden av Tingstua og Arbeider´n
Informasjon om årets tiltak mot Gyrodactilus Salaris
Da står vi i «startgropa» foran årets bekjempelsestiltak mot Gyrodactylus salaris i Drammensregionen.
I år er det andre års rotenonbehandling i Sande-sonen og storskala klorforsøk i Drammenselva som skal gjennomføres.
I Lierelva blir det ingen behandlingstiltak i år, men her planlegges det videre for oppstart i 2027

The white whale is visiting and the measures being implemented ahead of the start of salmon fishing in 2026
The safety zone for the whale is 300m for fly fishing and 500m for boat/rod fishing. In addition, there should be no motorized traffic or other traffic on the river in the same zone, so that the whale can be left alone.
The East Side Hunters and Fishermen's Association manages fishing in the Drammen river downstream of Hellefossen and down to the municipal border of Drammen municipality on behalf of Hellefossen Elveeierlag.
The association also has a hunting and fishing committee, and an activities committee which facilitates
a number of events throughout the year.
